What becomes public

Only anonymized aggregates — never your individual row.

  • Role, experience band, and location
  • Salary & bonus — blended into benchmark ranges, never as your single number
  • Employer pay only once 3+ submissions exist, with the sample size disclosed

What stays private

Has no public read path in our database.

  • Your identity and employer, never tied to a published figure
  • Your email — used only to de-duplicate and follow up if you opt in
  • Any proof link you add (offer letter, pay stub, LinkedIn)

How we verify submissions

A person reviews every entry before it can move a benchmark. Here is what that review does.

Outliers are flagged, not averaged in

Each entry is checked for plausibility against the existing range. Implausible figures are held for review rather than silently blended into a benchmark.

    Roles & companies are normalized

Free-text job titles are mapped to a standard role and company names are normalized, so aggregates stay consistent and comparable across submissions.

It sharpens an Estimate, not a BLS fact

Submissions feed our modeled, aggregated Estimate layer. The national baseline stays the Verified BLS OEWS figure — your data never overwrites it.

    Individual numbers are never published

We only ever show aggregates. An employer's pay appears only once 3+ submissions exist for it, always with the sample size disclosed.

Adding a private proof link (offer letter, pay stub, or LinkedIn) is optional, but it raises your submission's confidence during review. This is not financial advice.
